Everybody else is doing it so why can't we? *

We can. I'm talking about blogging.

From a technical point of view we already have a blog up and running at www.webfactory.de/blog/. But the problem is it doesn't really feel like one. We use it solely for project announcements and some [Meldungen in eigener Sache], and it is mainly targeted at (potential) customers. Many things we talk about at the kitchen table or waiting by the coffee machine and that we would like to share with a broader audience simply do not fit in there and would have propably been of little interest for most of our website visitors.

That is the reason why we came up with this sub-site. We call it "Inside" because we would like to give you an inside view of webfactory and the things we are dealing with in our daily work. Our company covers quite a few areas in the web development [Haifischbecken]. And so the posts in this blog will be on topics like information architecture, screen and interface design, XHTML/CSS/JavaScript coding, hardcore PHP scripting, Content Management and more. We'll share some thoughts with you and hope to get some opinions on them. Furthermore we are going to write about out latest developments - be it on the server or the client side - or just stuff we stumbled upon while browsing the web.

So without further ado, let's the games begin.
