Case study: Youthpass tool for offline generation of certificates
This case study describes webfactory’s development and implementation of a software tool, Youthpass, that generates PDF (Portable Document Format) documents from structured data gathered in a wizard-like input process. What make this procedure and application unique, are that the software is written entirely in PHP and it is not only used online as a web application, but can also easily be installed on any Windows computer for offline use. The tool features a user interface similar to traditional Windows applications, which is achieved through the employment of AJAX (Asynchronous JavaScript and XML) techniques. read more
European Consumer Organisation BEUC launches wfDynamic-based online registration platform
Under the name of TRACE - Training for Consumer Empowerment - the European Consumers' Organisation BEUC organises training courses for staff of consumer organisations on behalf of the European Commission. To facilitate both the application for participants and the internal process of participant selection and training organisation BEUC has launched a database driven web portal based on webfactory's wfDynamic Web Application Framework. read more
